Nehemiah Computer Centre

Nehemiah Computer Centre is dedicated to bringing computer access and basic computer skills to underprivileged children in Karachi, Pakistan, particularly those who have limited or no access to computers. Many children from low-income families risk never interacting with a computer throughout their education, which can severely hinder their opportunities in today’s digital world. These children must become part of the computer age to fully participate in society. At Nehemiah Computer Centre, we believe that equipping these children with computer skills is essential for success in higher education, career ambitions, and future aspirations.

In the 21st century, computer literacy is more than just an advantage—it’s a necessity. Understanding and using computers opens doors to a vast array of information and opportunities. It allows children to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, enhances creativity through tools like Adobe Photoshop, and provides the technical competencies needed for many professions.

Currently, our project provides essential skills such as MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, Web Design, and more to about 200 children for a very nominal fee. By offering these programs, we aim to empower the youth with the tools they need to thrive in their education and beyond, ensuring they are not left behind in an increasingly digital world. Your support is crucial to expanding this initiative and making a lasting impact in these children’s lives.
