Flood Relief
In 2010, Pakistan faced its worst flooding disaster in history. Nehemiah Trust Pakistan, with the support of friends and supporters from around the world, collected and organized food, clothing, and shelter for the flood victims.
This year, heavy rains have once again triggered devastating floods in parts of Southern Pakistan. Over a million people have been affected, and thousands have lost their homes in regions still recovering from last year’s disasters. Recently, flooding has submerged entire villages and resulted in the tragic loss of at least 4,000 lives.
In response to the news of the floods, Nehemiah Trust Pakistan has decided to send assistance in the form of dry ration packages to over 50 families in District Badin, which has been reported as the hardest hit area in this recent calamity. These ration packages include rice, lentils, cooking ghee, flour, dates, sugar, tea leaves, and water bottles.
There is an urgent need for clean drinking water, food, and medical assistance as immediate priorities for the survivors. To support them, we require medicines, food, clothes, and footwear, especially for the affected children, to ensure proper distribution of these essential items.
We are now focusing on organizing medical relief camps and efforts in Badin to provide as much help as possible. We are seeking assistance from our local and international friends to partner with us so we can launch a combined effort to organize relief operations as quickly as possible.
Your wholehearted support will be greatly appreciated. Please consider sending your donations to our bank account or via Western Union.
